Balance We must find the balance
I hear this statement alot these days. Expecially when a discussion has reached a point where the one holding the "balance card" has not been able to shake off their opponant. And so there it is. On the table. "We have to find the balanceed place here" "We have to maintain a balanced position here"
So where is "here" exactly?
Here, inevitabley is on a road where, if you go too far in this direction (which is where we will end up if we follow YOUR path of reasoning, we will find our selves in the town called Error. And admittedly, If we travel too far past the place I am speaking about, we will end up on the other side of that same town, again -
in Error.
The reasoning goes like this... if we follow our GPS correctly, meaning our God Presuming Speculator, we will miraculously find that delicate place called Balance where all is good and true.
Somehow I always thought that if you found on your right side was error and on your left side was also error that the place you were now standing was actually called.....
Error.
Now when I get out my old fashion map printed by King James himself I believe it is pretty clear that the road that goes right thro Error is no where near the road God called us to be on.
Dear travelers, God never called us to figure out some illusionary place called balance. The road He has called us to is a higher road. A road where His love so permeates our being that the place we find ourselves in is called Intimacy. On this road you will find yourself pregnant and giving birth to the offspring of His seed. Fruit of your union with Him, carring His DNA. Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, are the names of His children.
Come to the land of Intimacy. Get rid of your GPS, the fragrance of His love will be all you need to guide you on this road.

Im sure the folks in Pensylvania hold fast to the bragging rights for being on the right road as they thought of identifying their towns with names like Intercourse, Ephrata, Fruitville and Fertility.
